holding their monthly diabetes class
on Thursday, September 19 from 8 am to
2:30 pm in the Geneva Room at AMH.
Classes will focus on carbohydrate
counting and dietary management,
foot and skin care, exercise, the
emotional aspect of having diabetes,
self-monitoring blood glucose meters,
and how often to check glucose levels,
lifestyle hints to help control blood
sugar, how specific drug classes
prescribed for diabetes work, drug
side effects, and drug interactions.

Monday, October 9Mammography Night4-7 p.m.AMH Radiology Dept. A special night for women who have never had a mammogram done at AMH or for those women whose last mammogram has been more than five years ago.
AMH has received a grant from the Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust to provide free screenings to women in our area who meet financial criteria--ask about the grant when you schedule your mammogram.
Mini-massages, pampering, and snacks will be available at this night as well.

Starts Oct. 3, 2017EMS Class to be OfferedAMH A basic life support EMT class will be held at AMH starting October 3 and running through mid-April, 2018. Instructor for the class is Kent Hart, EMT-P.
