OB and Maternity

NEW Saturday Hours, 8am-12pm in the OB/Newborn Clinic, to schedule call 833-724-DOCS (3627)

Our Maternity Center offers private labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum (LDRP) rooms, which allow all care to occur in the same room. Each expectant mother has her own thoughts about childbirth, as it is one of life’s most memorable events. Our goal is to help you have a positive experience. Adams offers everything you need for you and your baby, including professional birth planners and classes.

Our OB nurses will assist you with birthing techniques to help you throughout labor. You may choose to use the birthing ball, rock in the rocking chair or simply walk. These forms of movement can facilitate the laboring process through natural positioning. We will assist you with breathing and position changes if you desire an unmedicated, “natural” labor.

In some cases, we may recommend medications given intravenously or call on our excellent anesthesia staff to provide an epidural. We make sure our patients understand all of their options.

An OB nurse is always available to assist you and answer questions throughout your stay. An internationally board-certified lactation consultant is on staff as well to assist you with breastfeeding concerns. Feel free to call with any questions at any point. Room service from the Adams Café is available between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., so you may order what you want when you want it. New moms and partners also enjoy a celebration meal during their stay.
